Pocha Chicken Henderson — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

First of all I would like to say that the food at this restaurant seems good also i had the opportunity to talk to two humble people there on july 16th, probably their owner . Very nice ,no doubt. But still ,I am going to share a different experience.I am both sorry and ashamed to share such an experience with everyone. My husband and I have only been to that restaurant twice and each time we have had some embarrassing experiences. We have seen some of the women working at the restaurant and I was surprised to see them making some strange gestures towards my husband. The reason I am saying that is the place my husband parked the car was visible from their checkout counter and I could see inside out from the car. I was surprised that the girls working there were constantly trying to get my husband's attention,which made both my husband and me very embarrassed.My husband left the counter and the store as soon as the order was placed. We were waiting outside. I noticed from the car that they had given us good notice when my husband got out of the car and went to that restaurant.I was surprised that they were standing infront of the computer and continuously looking at me in a very embarrassed way. When my husband walked in,they were pointing at each other with their eyes and making strange gestures. This is the second time we have had this experience here. As a wife, it is both painful and embarrassing to take these. These girls are very shameless because they continued this type of activity even after seeing me. However this time after noticing them,i went straight into there restaurant with my child. The girl's faces seemed to be suddenly scared. Honestly I have seen few girls doing this kind of activity in different places in Auckland as if their only purpose in working is to do all these and find a resident or citizen, there is no other purpose.They work in customer service and embarrass targeted customers. I hope the authority will be more aware of this issue and hire good employee who have good...

I placed an online order at 12:40 and was told it would be ready by 12:58. We arrived on time, but the food wasn’t ready. The staff member said it would be another 10 minutes, but it was clear she had just started cooking—our order took more than 20 minutes from when we arrived. I specifically ordered plain rice cakes, but was given rice cakes with sauce. When I politely questioned it, she insisted she couldn’t change the recipe. I’ve ordered plain rice cakes before—both at Mt Wellington and through Uber Eats—and never had an issue.

To make things worse, we got home and found the wrong chicken was packed—we ordered honey soy sweet but were given something else entirely. The chips were soggy and tasted like they’d been reheated. Overall, the food was disappointing and the customer service was just as bad. This experience was a complete waste of time and money. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again. Stay far clear...

I just ordered Soy Chilli chicken as I have done so since it came out back when this was West Side chicken. The young Indian man took my order and served me sweet chilli chicken. I realised this halfway home and turned around to take it back in exchange for what I ordered or my money back. This guy said no at first until I got lit up and asked him to call his boss. He swore black and blue I ordered sweet chilli and I replied that I have always bought and asked for Soy chilli. He said I should have read my receipt. After some persuasion he called his boss and came back saying wait 10 to 15 mins without an apology. Total doosh. Awesome chicken and rate it as the best I've tried in Auckland but the staff need some PR skills... dude was telling me he took 100 orders today and didn't get one wrong still not admiting he's at...
