If you're looking for a fresh, delicious, and exquisitely presented breakfast spot, then Clara is definitely the place to be. I was looking for a breakfast spot during Easter, but most of the shops were closed. Luckily, Clara was open! As soon as you enter, you'll be attracted to the colorful menu recommendation board, and the decor of the place is very fresh. The shop is decorated with various dried flowers, and the atmosphere is very cozy. I ordered their big breakfast, buttermilk pancake, french toast, and fries. Their fries are actually potato cakes! This is a very unique snack. The pancake and french toast were served with fresh milk foam, not butter, so the taste was very fresh and delicate, with no buttery aftertaste. All of the mains were very delicious, and the presentation was very delicate. I'd love to try their egg Benedict next time because I saw someone at the next table ordering it, and it looked amazing. Overall, Clara is a breakfast spot that is definitely worth revisiting, and I highly recommend it to everyone. If you want to taste something unusual and delicious, be sure to visit Clara. Read moreNumber 1 favourite cafe on the coast! Tucked in between Bunnings and PaknSave it can easily be missed - but in fact a sizeable area with plenty of downstairs parking, seating, prompt service, lovely rural view and very warm, friendly staff. The greatest highlight though, The Food! With Glass Window or full Menu food, Clara offers a wide variety to suits all budgets and is reasonably priced. Everything myself and family have ever had here has been perfectly cooked, tastes fantastic and the meals are filling. I’m particularly partial to the range of omelettes which are consistently superbly prepared and also surprisingly very filling! That said, across many visits we have tried multiple different dishes as well as window meals and everything has been flavour full and on all counts entirely hits the hunger spot. The AllPress Coffee (a personal favourite) again consistent and perfect every time. A cafe truthfully worth the 5 stars it receives as it sits top notch in every category and as others have said, easily the best on the peninsular. Thanks also for selling me beans part packet,...
Read moreVisited for lunch yesterday, nice looking cafe....Nice enough man taking our order..BUT my meal wasn't up to standard, ordered the Chicken Burger, the Chicken was overcooked and dry ! The Bacon was dried up could hardly cut the one skinny piece..particularly hard to cut on a thin board and piece of paper...plates are much preferable. My Iced Chocolate was 50% ice, which melted to a watery drink..All the ice makes for half a glass of chocolate drink. Didn't see the man again to ask if we were happy with our meals, or ask if we needed anything else like another drink, or maybe a sweet...infact didn't bother to even clear away the plates....thanks for nothing..you weren't busy, so that wasn't the reason for the LACK OF SERVICE !...
