Lovely premises, great coffee but average food with questionable service. I went with my family for Sunday lunch. The teenage girl serving us seemed a bit distracted and confused. We ordered two pies (in a pie warmer) that didn't initially turn up until my wife went and asked for them. $6 pies that were dry and lukewarm. I ordered a flat white that never got brought out to our table (and we were given a number). I went back after 10 mins to ask where my coffee and they just pointed at one made on the counter.

However, I have since been contacted by the owner with an apology and do accept that some of this is just start-up jitters and new staff. I can certainly vouch for the coffee! I am sure the service and food will...

Went here for a business meeting. Was left standing at the counter waiting to be served while the two girls who were running the place chatted out the back. Finally managed to order breakfast, neither of us liked what we got. My toast was so dry it might as well have been short bread, the "hash browns" was one little nugget. The poached eggs were overcooked. The person I was meeting asked for Avocado toast...it was toast with guacamole on it...except they forgot to put lemon juice in it. They ask at the start for lemon juice, and were told it already had it...it didn't.

We both agreed that it was the worst breakfast we'd had, and we're planning out fortnightly breakfast meets elsewhere in...

Visiting this cafe was 100% out of convenience rather than planned, but what a treat it turned out to be.

The decor is lovely, the service was fine. I gave 4 out of five for service as we weren't ready to order on the first visit to our table, and only a couple of minutes later we were but no one came over, so I went to order at the counter. No biggie.

The food and coffee were delish and I mean 100% delish. They were visually pleasing, too. Pity I didn't take a photo. Gluten-free is becoming the norm now, but I haven't had such a good tasting gluten-free bagel in a long time. I'm not sure I would tell the difference between a wheat and this gluten-free one.

All in all, I really...

Great new cafe, love the concept and their principles, which are reflected throughout. Great food options too, all tied into the same theme. Good coffee, and great outlook. Place was busy but service was quick. The only reason it's 4 and not 5 stars, is one service woman was rather incompetent, ordering didn't get/hear one of the four dishes right, and then tried to serve us someone else's order. Small blight on an otherwise great experience. Will be back again for sure.

I am now downgrading my 4 star to a 2 star review after an unpleasant experience last week. 1. The young girl behind the counter was very inhospitable and made us feel very unwelcome. 2. We ordered medium Chai latte and were served these tiny glasses that hardly qualify as a small. 3. The salmon and scrambled eggs were just slapped on a plate and unattractive. The owner needs to have a serious discussion with his staff.
