Bucklands Beach Yacht Club — Restaurant in Howick

This is a fantastic facility and great location, we were there for a meeting and got to use the top floor meeting room. There are great other facilities such as the bars and restaurant. These can also be hired for private functions with some level of notice. Had a good sized group Christmas lunch at the club from the menu which was quite extensive. Entrees, mains and desert was had by nearly everyone as the different dishes all sounded yum. Everything came out well presented and everyone thoroughly enjoyed there meals and different dishes. My husband and I attended Bucklands Beach Yacht Club Open Day today, 18/2/2024.

It is the first time we have been there. We enjoyed the beautiful view overlooking the amazing yachts at the restaurant there. Live music was fantastic and the singer John Kempt really played the guitar so well that he could actually make the guitar sing! We loved his voice and the way he skilfully played the guitar.

We also enjoyed the wine tasting there and met a lovely couple Victoria and Michael who are real estate agents at Ray White.

We had our twins daughters' 21st Birthday celebration there at the Percy Jones Function room, upstairs. Amazing venue & on top it all is the awesome view. Though we were not members of the club, yet the services that we were given were awesome by their friendly staffs. Thank you James & the girls! The meals were so delicious - buffet & our 80 guests loved them all! A great place for weddings & birthdays. We would love to hire that place again in the future if we have anymore celebrations & we recommend this great place to everyone. Great to go to for dinner & lunch for they welcome non-members too.
