Ordered 2 dishes from here.
Sago with coconut, mango, ice cream Dish was served at room temp, this is supposed to be a cold dessert dish but it was not served this way. ice cream portion was slightly smaller than a size of a pingpong ball - it didn't give me enough to enjoy with the sago drenched in coconut cream. Mango pieces, well they weren't fresh, I know it's hard to get fresh ones, but they had almost no taste. lastly the sago was just too soft and coconut cream had nothing special about it. -overall balance of the dish was off - due to the lack of attention paid to providing a quality dish.
Tofu pudding with Boba (Hot) first problem was that the dish was not served hot... it was again room temperature. staff reheated the dish with a microwave for 2 mins but even then, the tofu itself was only warm on the outer layer, and when you dig through the tofu was still very much cold. the boba and syrup poured all over the tofu was OKAY at the least but I think microwaving the dish itself actually destroyed the taste of the dish.
Lastly, when I brought the tofu back to the counter because the staff got my order wrong, the female staff grabbed it chucked it into the microwave told me that she will bring it back out to me (which she didn't), I had to go back to the counter again after 5 mins asking where the dish is, she was just chatting away with her co-worker and never apologised for forgetting my dish that was in the friggin microwave....
I felt like I wasted so much money and time to come here for a completely...
Read moreI asked what she would recommend and she chose the two most popular ones. The Herbal Jelly Bowl and I think it's the traditional Black tea with Boba I asked for Boba my first time trying Bing Soo or shave iced like this. I actually really liked it the taro and other bits that were in it a very delicious I thought I would like the taro but it actually remind me of sweet taro pudding and the sweet potato taste a bit like pumpkin poke which is a traditional Tahitian and Cook Island food which I love. And the fact it's not overly Herbally for my kiwi taste buds but you can taste it slightly so yeh I did like it and really enjoyed it and I think for the price for both all up isn't bad because after I ate The Herbal Jelly Bing Soo I was surprisingly full lol so that was pretty good. I would definitely go back and I also like it because it's closer to where I live in Papakura so I don't need to go all the way in town to eat Bing Soo and try something new. So that's pretty cool. And I like that there are a lot of Asian eats around the little shopping market. I would definitely go back. The Black Boba tea I'm not a big fan of black tea in general but it's not a bad drink if you like your tea. ❤️ So yeh I would say go...
Read moreTerrible customer service. I went to Meadowlands to get a takeaway tonight and was very unhappy with the staff who served me. I ordered the ice taro ball and asked whether she can out the ice on the side. She said extra charge so I said "don't worry about it then" and ordered an extra topping. Before paying, I realized the price isn't right so I double checked my order. It turned out that she added "pudding" as another topping by mistake. So I said "I only order mini taro ball". By then her voice clearly emphasized that she is annoyed by me who never raise the voice toward her and only kindly ask her to serve. There were hardly no customers so "busy" isn't a valid excuse. Before leaving, I said to her that I am not happy with the customer service and I am not going back again. Dear Meet Fresh! We come to support you during the tough time and you throw straight into my face after a long day with this sort of service. Never meet...
