PHOTUNE — Restaurant in Howick

We had the lemongrass pork vermicelli and beef pho. And it was excellent. Perhaps a bit different from a more authentic Vietnamese version, the pho’s broth was clear and flavorful and perhaps more refined. But missing the Vietnamese mint though.

The pork lemongrass vermicelli was awesome with loads of flavor and texture from the fresh ingredients in them! Only thing missing for me are perhaps some roasted peanuts.

Atmosphere is a very comfortable and clean with jazz music in the background.

Will definitely come back to try more...

It is okay for a meal one time but I would not come back.

This place serves up a mix of Korean-inspired Vietnamese dishes - not Viet food! I wouldn’t come here for authentic Viet cuisine.

The food is always so good here and you can tell that as it is always busy.

Definitely my go to local Vietnamese restaurant.

The only slight downside is that the owners children have been at the restaurant each time I have visited which is fine expect sometimes you go to a restaurant to get away from the kids. It feels like you are eating at someone's house with the kids carrying on and...
