Banh Mi Boy — Restaurant in Māngere-Ōtāhuhu

We've been wanting to try the food here for the longest time. From their humble beginnings in the food trailer, to now being in a nice store location, we've followed along in their journey vicariously through food vloggers and the social media posts and stories. So now that we were finally be able to enjoy the food first hand was an amazing experience. From the warm friendly greeting you get when you walk in through the doors, to the great conversation we had with the proud owner, to the actual tasting of the delicious and expertly made Banh Mi sandwiches.. Every thing was amazing. My only regret is that I devoured my sandwiches way too fast and was left with a deep remorse because it will be quite a while before we can come back down from the Coromandel and enjoy the beautiful food again. Hands down, the best Banh Mi we've ever had - your Paté is so delicious .. and the Vietnamese "Crack" Coffee was on point too.

Thoroughly appreciate your work, keep it up and we'll definitely see you again in the not too distant future.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE !!! 1000 stars . Go there now ! The bread is like a pillow of heaven with crunchy outside and soft inside. I had the chicken lemongrass and it was full of flavor and texture and blew my mind with every single bite . I also got the beef and it was silky smooth and melting in my mouth . The veges are so fresh and crisp and make these amazing . The Pate is out of this world!!! The iced tea was epic !

If you go and there is a line don’t worry ! The service is quick and friendly , and it is worth the wait you won’t regret it .

I will be taking everyone I know here as it is a life changing experience . Every roll you ever have now will be compared to these beautifully made delish flavorful creations.

Situated in such a humble spot right here in South Auckland. I got to witness a beautiful family serve a long line of customers today not only with a smile but with their son in a carrier on her back just playing with his mums hair while she served customers. It's hard to come by great service these days let alone great food at affordable prices. My family and I absolutely loved it! Lemongrass Chicken, Braised Pork Belly and Vietnamese Iced Coffee.
