I wanted to say what a wonderful team of staff at this store by the airport. Last week my family dined in at this restaurant and the staff were very polite and friendly. Our food tasted fine and we were served very quickly. Then just the other day we realised my daughter's small back pack (including wallet) was missing. Thinking back to where we had been, my daughter thought she may have left it on the back of one of the chairs at Subway. A quick call to the store and the friendly lady on the end of the phone told me she had a small black bag in the office. Thankfully it was safe and sound. I went to collect it today and the same young man that served me a week ago was there. He remembered me and said he had collected the bag and put it in the office. What a lovely, honest young man. Thank you for being so kind and doing the right thing by keeping it safe until we made contact. I wish I had brought the staff something to share as a thank you, but I did give you a big thank you in front of customers and one lady said how lovely that was when we went back outside. The OPEN sign doesn't work, but the joke is that the DRIVE THRU sign works, but it's no longer used LOL. Internally the place looked like a run down American Diner, lighting fixtures 5 out of 9 worked, ceiling fans did nothing to cool the interior down, if the heat pump was on that too couldn't keep a Penguin cool. Read moreI recently stopped at this Subway after driving the length of the country on a road trip for the holidays, and unfortunately, it was the worst experience I've had at any Subway. The staff were unprofessional—grumpy, had no facial expressions, and were difficult to understand. They also did not take proper precautions for my Coeliac disease, and I had to call out cross-contamination issues twice. When I mentioned my condition, the staff were completely unaware of Coeliac disease, so I had to educate them myself.
