Taco Bell Airport Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Māngere-Ōtāhuhu

The wait times at this specific taco bell are terrible. This store seems more busy than others in Auckland, and they quite clearly aren't equipped for it. On my most recent visit, all three of the ordering machines were faulty, but people were still trying to use them, only for them to stop working when it got to the payment part. This meant everyone was then having to line up to order with a staff member, which was slow, and meant one less person making the food.

When I got there, I waited 10 minutes to be served but did get anywhere as a family of 6 were demanding a refund after waiting over half an hour for their food. The poor staff member blamed it on understaffing, which I've seen in other people's reviews.

I ended up leaving the store because it was clearly a disaster in there, and I didn't want to add to the backlog of orders.

Seeing as this store is located next to the airport, I imagine plenty of people from outside the Auckland region visit before or after going to the airport, and quite frankly it's not a great impression of Auckland. Something needs to be changed at this store because it's...

Overall experience... TERRIBLE AND DISAPPOINTING!! Service shocking / non existent. Very reliant on self service machine which seems to allow staff to not interact with customers at all. So hard to flag them down to ask questions or top up of napkins! Restaurant was DIRTY! 🤢 Rubbish left on tables because actual rubbish bins were overfilled and tables needed to be wiped down. Floors dirty with odd bits of food and rubbish lying around. Drinks area was filthy as well. FOOD was alright. Jalapeño bites and chips were yummy! Loaded nachos very disappointing with the lack of meat and flavourless guacamole and tomato stuff. Drinks (fizzy) all tasted like they have been watered down ALOT! ATMOSPHERE has potential to be better if all the above are rectified! Will NEVER EVER have Taco BELL again in NZ. Should have walked that extra bit...

Little girl at the drive thru today at 4.00pm was so rude and acted snotty and spoilt, she had us sitting in the drive thru with no other cars for 10mins and we saw our food just sitting on the counter as we saw her just laughing and talking to another co worker, when she carried our food to us we confronted her and said that our food was sitting there for 8mins before she attended to it and then she gave us attitude and said "i was serving a customer" But we saw her laughing and talking to her co worker. Then we checked our bag and she was missing our fries, so we told her the fries are not in here to where she then again with attitude replies " oh i havent serve them yet" Kefe!! Fix that little girls attitude because shes just lucky we were nice because if she acted like that to some other islanders...
