Overall wholesome vibes of the bakery itself, pah is also a neat place in its own accord so nice to have Sunday the bakery popping up there. Service was courteous as can be by a few gals tired on a Sunday I’m sure. As for the bakes-I got there around 1:30pm so to be expected that the presenting array was a bit on the diminished side. I did previously have a look on the website and seems the range isn’t that big anyway. Nevertheless I did get what I wanted; creaming soda guava cake and shrewsberry cookie. Both were cute and true to what you see online. Cookie was too sweet for my liking but the shortbread was nice. I inhaled a bit of the icing sugar so choked but that’s my bad-and the icing sugar was a nice touchable adding to the sugary jam which was a it too sweet for my personal taste. The guava cake was definitely a unique one-never had actual fruit incorporated so well into the sponge itself and added a different texture to the cake. Cake wasn’t overly sweet which I enjoyed and the tartness of the guava enhanced it. Reminds me of Chinese fruit cakes but the fruit is like apart of the cake rather than its own layer. The cake is a yummy treat. I still personally love Chinese cream cakes and would prefer that over traditional cakes but this one’s perfect for a casual picnic vibe! Three stars as it was a good experience, love trying these goodies but nothing screaming special that’d make me return asap-note I’m not the biggest sweet...

Have had the guava cream soda cake and some of the sandwich cookies from Sunday the Bakery. Everything is well made and deliciously tasty, with interesting ingredients and flavours I haven’t seen anyone else really using, like guava, or rosemary in the caramel! And of course they are all beautifully decorated—simple but stunning. I love the floral motif too. So cute!

EDIT: went to Sunday’s pop-up café at Pah Homestead—added new pictures. The two toast options were what I tried personally and they were both...

Sent a last minute message for a special request gender reveal cake and got an immediate response accommodating everything I asked for. The cake was exceptional and met all expectations. The fruit topping was amazing! It’s not often you can find a cake with so much fruit that you get some with every bite and the icing ratio was so perfect, not overwhelming at all. We had the apricot, thyme and ricotta and it certainly was a crowd pleaser. Stunning cakes, lovely operator and a delish result you can’t...
