We got a handy car park on Stafford Street. The Restauant had a $10 lunch menu with a range of choices which we had seen advertised in the local paper. We walked through to the dining area with tables. There was also another room with pool tables and an outdoor area to sit in better weather. Efficient friendly service, and a nice polite check up after the meal was served. The beef open sandwich was tasty and well cooked but cooled quickly. The chicken burgers looked good and didn't fall apart while being eaten. Nice small amount of fries well cooked with dipping sauce. Cutlery and serviettes in a container on the table, and the menu propped in a heavyweight stand which was a clever creative form of advertising for a drink (see photo)....

Waited another 40 minutes for the meal to arrive, which they must have forgotten as plenty of pub punters had their meals arrive. Had to speak to staff. Waiting time is a little long but I'm not the sort of person who cares, so long as the end product is good. I'm a big fan of the thursday night steaks, which are excellent.
