Feilding Chinese Takeaways — Restaurant in Manawatū-Whanganui

I normally only write good reviews - I like to see a bit of positive in everything - but I just can't do that now.

We went on Sunday night and ordered three dishes, and threw the whole lot in the bin. There was no point ringing to tell them and get it precooked because we won't eat anything from there again. It's unfortunate, because the owner is lovely.

Our chicken egg fu yung had so much cabbage in it, it was like a soup; and the chicken tasted like pork (I hate pork).

The sweet and sour chicken was 95% batter and also tasted like pork. The sauce was very watery.

The beef chow mein was 50% cabbage and the few bits of beef were grisly bits of offcuts.

I don't mind spending money on decent food, and I HATE wasting food, but this was all completely inedible.

I strongly recommend giving this place...

I love this takeaway place so much!! Order dinner here almost every Friday night, owner is so sweet and lovely, and the chips especially are delicious!! 10/10 would recommend...
