If you're looking for perfect coffee and a charming atmosphere with vintage decor, tucked away from the bustle of town - this café nails it. The ambience alone makes it worth a visit for coffee enthusiasts.

However, despite "Bagel" being in their name and their menu focusing exclusively on bagels, my experience with the food was disappointing. I ordered their Shakespeare (bacon, lettuce, tomato) which lacked sufficient sauce, featured overcooked bacon, and came on a mediocre bagel. The combination resulted in an unfortunately dry breakfast that didn't match the quality of their excellent coffee.

Given their specialisation in bagels, better quality control for their signature food items would elevate this café from a great coffee spot to an all-around excellent breakfast or brunch experience. Still worth visiting for the coffee and atmosphere, but temper your expectations...

We love coming to Little Curious with our small dog and sports team for regular coffees and snacks.

As a Barista family I can safely say that we've never had a bad coffee here, and even their decaf is delicious!

The staff are so phenomenally friendly and switched on, and make you feel welcome every time you step through the door.

The bagels are out-of-this-world delicious. Never thought I'd be a bagel person and was skeptical when I was taken here for the first time, and am now a proud regular and have never looked back!

It's comfy, warm in winter and cool in summer, and the prices are great! Please try their doggy bagels if you come here with your pup - they...

Is this the most perfect cafe ever? From the consistently delicious coffee, tasty food, cutest ever mini bagels, gluten free options, doggo and baby friendly, borrow-a-sun-hat-rack, smiling staff, sunny outdoor and comfy indoor seating… what more could you want? It’s also incredibly laptop lifestyle friendly and on any given weekday you might find the vibe more akin to a coworking space.

Every time I come there’s something new and awesome, another room opened, new tables outside. What the owners have achieved in a year, which has also been their first year of parenthood is something they should be so proud of.

Ever thankful for this little gem of a cafe...

The best little bagel shop in New Zealand (probably the world). This friendly and welcoming team craft some of the most delicious gourmet bagels you can imagine, as well as simpler ones with cream cheese or spreads. My favourites are the Great Gatsby (add a hash brown!) and the Stuart Little. The coffee is good and there are a variety of other beverage options for the non coffee drinkers too. The cafe is beautifully renovated with a homey feel, and as well as the many indoor tables it has a range of good outdoor seating options (and a couple of blankets for the cold days). Dog-friendly, kid-friendly! Hands down the best breakfast or lunch spot in Whanganui.

Yum yum yum! Tried their bagels the other day 😍 other than the large bagels that a choc a block full of stuff and can never be finished, their bagels are the perfect size, taste amazing and look adorable! The Cesar salad one is yum for a healthy lunch and the Nutella is great for breakfast. Would always recommend as a first choice for breakfast. They also do coffee, tea and some other fancy types of drinks Seating area is comfy and there is room at the back for the perfect study space for students doing assignments
