The Villa — Restaurant in North Island

We went here for lunch. I had to clean the table after someone else had been eating as the staff seemed to be too busy to do it. The manager I am pretty sure he was the manager had no customer service nor was he interested in thanking us for bringing him the dirty dishes from our table from the last customer.Toasted sandwiches eventually came after what seemed ages but the lady opoligised for the time it took she was the high light of our experience. The manager gave us our coffees but no polite conversation was involved he obviously had a attitude problem. Had a reserved table for a group for "brunch" today. Children accompanied. Ambiance and atmosphere was comfortable and really lovely. Artwork tasteful. Menu had a good variety of options with different dietary needs. Orders were taken smartly. Service was friendly and efficient with everything being delivered in a timely manner. Wait time was not long at all. Portions were ample. Everybody enjoyed their orders, with two requesting theirs to be packaged for takeaway, as there was so much to eat. A friend & I visited this Cafe today. We were greeted by a very polite young girl who took our orders & processed them & the payment very efficiently the whole time with a smile.
