It should no NO stars. It was about 9am I was the only one I line. I waited 5_7minutes to be served. A staff member walked in was about to go behind counter then decided to order something he walked out before me. There was a guy doing drive through no cars. A lady was walking round looking like she was doing paperwork but was leaning on a workbench probably reading the paper. 1 cook looked like she was frying lots of things. Probably yesterday's leftovers judging by the container she took the pattie out of and poured the juicy or fat or something into a bin. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience at this location. One other time early morning. The servery behind the counter was dirty looking very sticky and and chocolate was under the ice cream machine.
I was really hungry having worked a 16hr shift the day before. And got nothing. I ended getting a sausage from a fundraiser. No wonder the golden arches across the road are always busy. I think I should post this to Jon and Ben because I would have brought...

Sadly I cannot say I approve of the venture in Masterton it lacks proper management skills : the milkshake machine always seems to be broken and today I was intimidated by the duty manager who claimed an overcharge was normal I have the evidence to prove otherwise .
She dealt with me in a threatening manner and used intimidation and a raised voice so that I would accept the situation to be normalised : I'm sorry my dear I don't an overcharge is an overcharge 17.40 for a double whopper combo large size is not 21.40 for the tripple whopper combo you are in error .
I've forwarded the matter to burger king corporate head quarters where I'm sure the matter will be dealt with I would be hesitant to go near the restaurant as matters are not dealt with in a professional manner and bully tactics and intimidation seem to be the modus operendi .

P.S
I spoke to you in a calm and professional manner that is how you deal with customers you don't shout or intimidate them leave that in prison it has no place...
Read moreI found this franchise a bit disappointing, on the day I visited. The Triple-Whopper meal was cold and leathery and dry. It was not worth the thick-end of $20. As they were very busy I didn't complain, I dined and left.
I did notice it was a new crew, tho' -- so I'll revisit and re-rate in a month or so, once the trainees have gotten used to their roles. Fair enough to cut them some slack.
UPDATE: The Triple-Whopper meal was good this time. Prices had (sigh...) Increased.
The main reason I don't eat here as often as I could is they charge 60c extra if you want extra pickles on your burger -- which is dumb because Burger King used to differentiate on being the place where you could "have it your way."
By way of contrast, McDonald's (right across the street) doesn't charge extra for extra pickles. Go figure.
Objectively, the Burger King product is superior to the McDonald's product. I just hate being...
