Called on 24th dec 2024 for reservation and the staff was very rude and asked for time of arrival and people and i said we are 7 people and will be there at sharp 7:30pm and after listening 7 people for dine in he said sorry we have party in restaurant today so we can’t do it so after listening rude conversation I asked my other friend to call him for reservation and the staff asked same question to him about people and time so my friend mentioned 4 people and same time for dine and the staff said yahh you can come in also he mentioned that we are closing restaurant at 8 but online time was showing 9:00pm so the staff was lying with different customers!! Quite disappointing. I promised myself that I would not go back after I bought Chana Masala there last year Nov/Dec. The Chana Masala did not even look like Chana Masala, we could not eat it disgusting to say the least. Went their on Saturday 2/12/23 and ordered a Vegetable Breyani after this I would definitely not go back there again. Breyani did not come together and had an after taste like metal almost as if it was sitting in a pot in the fridge and just warmed up to be served again - shocking that they would put food like this out...

Spices of India is located on Lincoln Road just off the main drag through Masterton. They served up really good food. Including their child-friendly butter chicken, which was excellent. The surroundings of the restaurant were pleasant, relaxing and vibrantly themed. The service was quick responsive, friendly and helpful. We hardly had to wait at all. The prices were also very good. Overall, by far the best indian meal we have had in a while. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of good quality...
