McDonald's Mount Wellington — Restaurant in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

At approximately 2.23am Christmas morning I was at the drive through and was served by Linda or Trish? (can't remember her exact name) Panmure Mcdonald's. She appeared to be on her own. While waiting for about 4 - 5 minutes I just caught Linda drop and spill my burger. Instantly she looked over at me and proceeded to 'tidy' the mess. She walked behind a machine (out of sight) taking the burger with her for a brief moment then came back with what appeared to be the same burger and continued to bag my order. Linda finally approaches the window and acted as if nothing happened which to me seemed odd because clearly she saw me notice the 'error'. She seemed 'suprised' when I asked her to which she assured me that the burger she served was a 'new' one. After a quick look I noticed that the paddy had been broken into 3 pieces. Not only did she serve me the same 'dropped' burger, she lied to my face and thats what I was most appalled about. She asked if I wanted a new burger to which I said no because I simply did not trust her. She was very incompetent, unprofessional and empathetic and after waiting longer than expected I was left dissatisfied, and extremely disappointed in the ‘service’ or the lack thereof.
 This is a poor reflection on Panmure McDonald's which is a real shame as I am a local. We all make mistakes but the lying was the most disheartening. I do hope you speak to this person and ensure she thinks twice before lying to someone else - others may not be in such a 'cheerful' mood and the outcome may not be such a 'jolly'...

This is by far the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to, and this isn’t just from one experience either. The order mess ups seems almost guaranteed at this point. But tonight drew the line for me, waiting for 5 minutes for someone to finally show up at the paying window (we knocked), and then when receiving our order after waiting 20 minutes for it in line, we double check with the blonde haired male worker who reinsured us that our entire order was in there. Yet we were missing a cheeseburger, fries, 6 chicken nuggets and an apple pie. After waiting at the 4th and final window for yet no one to come. One of us jumped out in the pouring rain to run into the “so called” restaurant.. yet the doors were locked and they ignored his cry out calls to who they clearly served just before. Being blantenly ignored in the rain while trying to come up to the drive thru window in desperate want for our food. Alas after having to get two of us to try and convince the workers to give us our food they told us to go wait back in the drive thru line.. WHICH WAS NOW BACKED ALL THE WAY TO THE ROAD. We were not about to wait half an hour for food we’ve already paid for. Begging again for even a little bit of sympathy… guess who had the order all ready behind the counter the entire time. I am extremely appalled and disappointed, not only was the food cold but I never got...

This place is a joke. I was wanting a burger around 6am but I didn't realize they stopped cooking burgers at 5am!! Fair enough. That's fine, looked at the breakfast menu and there's a breakfast burger.. so cutting a long story short.. you can buy a burger but it will cost you $11:80. What a joke. To justify this they give you a hash brown even though there's one in the burger. The worst part is when she asked me what I would like to drink! ! Would you like water!! I told her that I could get that out of the tap for free. She then offered me soda. Hot chocolate or orange juice. Sounds better so I'll have an orange juice. . She then hands me the machine to swipe my card and it's gone up to $12:80. She said nothing to me about the juice costing $1 more. Does mcdonalds think all its customers are idiots and we all have money trees in our backyard. I dnt mind it if you tell me about the extra cost, but to increase the price and without letting the customer know is nothing more than a culture that mcdonalds nurtures. I'm one of those people that double checks things. Lucky I did.. i told the lady that I dnt want your juice and I will not be coming back to Mt wellington mcdonalds. $11:80 for a burger $12:80 for a burger and orange juice. .
