Right from the moment we walked in, we're getting the unwelcoming and eye rolling from the guy behind the counter and also the owner. The way he served us was very rude, he kept stared at us while he served the order and we didn't like the way he talk to us at all. His service at point of order very poor. We ordered lamb on rice combo and chicken samosa. Would not recommend the rice or salad with meat option from their kebab place in store as it's not well prepared, too oily and no care of presentation. The chicken samosa was tasteless with a tiny of chicken but loads of onion. Could definitely tasted the onion, was very strong like it didn't cook properly. The lady owner the pay counter was really kind and friendly.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Best Lebanese store in Auckland. Finest Middle East ingredients. Selection is superb. Staff are wonderful and welcoming. You'll find Syrian Olive oil soap here with organic Bay oil. This is Auckland's best source for pure organically made soap. Pure A grade quality Pakistani oils of almond, clove and nigella seeds. The Sri Lankan bulk black tea is first grade pickings. This is a seriously impressive emporium. Best kebabs in all of Auckland made by a cook with major skills. You get the REAL and GENUINE kebab here.

Pita House is the OG Kebab joint nestled amongst Onehunga's commercial district. The family owned and operated business is authentic to the word, not only will they serve you the best kebab you've ever eaten, you can also stock up on all you middle eastern groceries and their inhouse Pita breads which are often still warm in the bag from coming off the conveyor belt. I Love this place, love the people & will always travel near or far if the temples screaming for a delicious meal.

I really don’t get why you need to be so rude and unwelcoming. Like many other reviews, the food is okay but yeah the staff and atmosphere just isn’t. You walk in and there is no menu displayed anywhere, the kebab corner is on the opposite side to where you need to order. So you find yourself confused from the get go. The cook then turns out to be the meanest guy on earth. Super rude and clearly would rather be at home than working. Then you ask for a chicken on chips and somehow he doesn’t know what that is 😩. “What type of chicken you, want?! You want a combo?!” Come on man everyone knows what that is. Then they give you a free pita bread which is cool but literally they pull it out the plastic bag and put it in a paper bag. The fries are frozen (to be expected) but were undercooked. There is no sign for what sauce they have so when being asked you have to magically guess or just wait for the cook to list them out to you… anyways food is decent but you need to up the service and the organisation, it just feels like a grocery store attempting to sell...

I have been there a few times, every time the unwelcoming and frustrated staff and their tired and sad faces makes me very uncomfortable. I was once given the fries of another customer, they fried it again and gave it to me. Absolute horrendous thing to do. Can't trust their hygiene and food quality. A lot of food is kept uncovered and open on the payment counter. People coughing and sneezing on that food. Really disgusting. The 'No F's given' attitude make me wonder that this business is just a side hustle for money laundering.

To the owners - Please uplift your attitude and hygiene. And you have a great...
