Church Street Garden Central — Local services in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

This is our go to plant shop, it exceeds expectations every time. Went today, they had a summer clearance on which was a great surprise and prices were exceptional. The quality of the indoor plants is A grade and the owner ‘Tania’ is very personable and will always give helpful tips. Outdoor plants are Mark ‘the self confessed plant-a-holic’ who also is very approachable. I have personally brought landscaping plants from outside for a new build and found prices to be more reasonable than wholesale nursery’s and the grades bigger. Only supplier I’d now recommend overall. Well worth a visit.

A Nice Garden centre. All i could ask for Is more Natives /Tree ferns,Hebe,Flax etc/and a lower price. We live in a day and age where simple things like bread milk and gas are getting quite expensive and i saw majority of the plants are 60to well over $100 /A palm there is about $100 where a big palm at Roger Hunters is only 50-70.But i must admit the quality of Church Street GC plants are abit more Healthy and looked after then that of Roger Hunters.The Man that works there is always tending to plants which is good. I was very unhappy with the lack of non service when I was asking a staff member about a plant I was looking (which they didn't have). He didn't even look at me when I said "excuse me" as I could see he was working on cleaning up the pathway. He just kept doing what he was & towards the end of my of my question did he look up at me.
