SOURCE Cafe — Restaurant in Napier

This is no longer the same 'Source'. It appears to have changed hands. We went here because it used to be very kid friendly. Unfortunately,it's not the same standard and service at all. The Fluffy and kids hot chocolate were both too hot. Burnt my child's mouth. I have never been anywhere that does not make these items at an appropriate temperature for tiny children! Both came in cardboard cups, but they needed to be double cupped due to the temperature and size of the kids hot chocolate. My other child picked the cup up and it folded and spilled everywhere! The girl who had served us at the counter saw, but did nothing. She had a cloth too. I had to go an get a million serviettes from the counter. The people who worked there seemed completely unaware of service and quality other than delivering drinks and food. Would...

Great friendly service, wide selection of food to suit all tastes on menu and in cabinet, nice artwork, lots of space, we really enjoyed our lunch / brunch! I'll be back 😀... Adding to that, I have been back many times. Today I was super impressed by how the staff know and related to customers, with a friendly and helpful atmosphere. One older lady asked for help unwrapping her sandwich and I was so impressed how respectful, helpful and happy the staff member was to help. I've been coming 😁 here for sometime over the decade I've lived here in the Hawkes Bay. Change of ownership a few times. The wholefood focus has dropped somewhat away.

You can still get a gd choice of alternative milks. 80c extra.

The sandwiches are made with store bought bread But still healthy and fresh. Some salads are available. Smoothies
