IG: 2Fish1Chip Ventured out south east to Miramar to try out Joe’s Cook on this fine sunny Sunday. Order: Fish and Chips, Sausage and Corn fritter. Cost: $20.71 The fish was Warehou with a solid crunchy coating. The size was very generous and steaky to the bite. Fresh and delicious! The corn fritter was also massive helped by a volumous batter that didn’t detract from the deliciousness within. Another tick on this one. The chips where your finest frozen digits but we’re cooked well and to the standard a good Chinese just knows how to. Portion was of a good size. Overall great ingredients prepped well, cooked to perfection and presented appetisingly. Cost wise, I thought it was okay for a big portion that could feed two people. Love ya work Joe!

Asked for under done fishn chips got a rubber slab of fish over cooked. Also ordered a combination fried rice, seems like most the rice is missing, bland no flavour had to add soy sauce.

I’m very disappointed in Joe’s Cook, Miramar. Being Mother’s Day, I decided to treat my family to Chinese takeaway for dinner. Unsure of the prices, I made the effort to personally visit the store this afternoon to collect a copy of the menu. Based on the menu I was given, I chose the Menu C combo for $78 and called later to place my order for pickup.

When I arrived to collect the order, I was shocked to be charged $98 instead. I immediately pointed out the discrepancy, explaining that I had received the menu with the $78 pricing less than two hours earlier. The staff’s response was simply that they have “new pricing.”

I find this completely unacceptable. If prices have changed, then old menus should not be handed out to customers — especially on the same day. It’s misleading and unfair, particularly when people are trying to plan a special occasion like Mother’s Day. Sadly, this experience has left me very disappointed and...

I have ordered the sweet and sour pork with fried rice combo thing is sweet and sour pork doesn't taste any sour flavors and where is vegetables there is none. I liked the fried rice. You know Sweet and Sour Sauce from Supermarket one is taste much much nicer then this. I'm so dissapointed on sweet and sour pork because it's so sweet. I wonder how much sugars you had to put in it. If you can afford the vegetables you could use freash onion with frozen vegetables on Sweet and Sour pork. I know you didn't add the vegetables because of cost but flavor and delicious food that's where you bring more customers....
