Chilli Indian Takeaway Whangarei — Restaurant in North Island

Whangarei's indian takeaway has taken a dive lately, the amount of reviews out there saying lack of flavour, watery butter chicken etc is shocking.Then I came across these guys. The reviews were awesome all 5 star. So we had to try. Tell you what it didn't disappoint. We had butter chicken it was amazing just the way it should be. We also had a chicken tikka masala and a lamb do payza. Both were incredible. Full of flavour nice thick gravy. Good size portions. Well worth the money. The best Indian food in Whangarei! We tried Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Kadhai and they all are awesome! Certainly, you don't have to find the chicken pieces in curries as they provides generous quantity of chicken in curries. Chef Arvind is a gem! I absolutely love indian food and i eat it spicy. Most places in Whangarei will give me mild or sweet tasting curries...however these guys actually made it spicy. It was so delicious. And the naan...omg so soft and yum. Would highly recommend. They are also the only place that deliver to Hikurangi....
