Today we went to KFC in Feilding Manawatū for lunch and ordered fried chicken drumsticks and bone-in chicken pieces. But to my surprise, the coating on the drumsticks was extremely hard — almost impossible to chew — and there was an excessive amount of oil on both the drumsticks and chicken pieces.
I brought this up with one of the female staff members, but she kept insisting, “They were freshly fried!” She even raised her voice and said, “Listen to me!” which was quite rude and unprofessional and very wired. Cause I didn’t say that the chicken was not fresh, just wondering why its coating was so hard to chew and it supposed to be crunchy by my experience.
Then the shift manager came over, he acted weird too and said something like, “That’s just how the chicken is.” I was really confused — not only was the food disappointing, but the attitude was even worse. We regularly eat KFC even people said it may not be healthy, now it is time to say goodbye to this shop.

The staff member decided she would argue with me about not being able to do it. I decided to ask for a refund if that's the disgusting attitude of the staff. Another staff member came and she was helpful. I told her that's atrocious the way her staff were arguing with me. She agreed however when I looked up the girl who served me was standing behind the chicken warmer laughing and I could see her along with the other one mouthing off! Read moreExpect long delays in being served. Sat in the drive thru today, blocked in for 45 minutes, unable to back out, so was stuck in the queue. Watched passengers get out of their cars and go in to order coming back out with food before the cars even moved. Watched 3 cars ahead of us wait up to 8 minutes each before being acknowledged, then waiting again to have their orders taken. If they haven't got enough staff, they should close the drive thru so they can cope. The management is setting up their team for abuse from customers who don't want to wait, completely out of the staff's control. I feel for the poor staff trying to keep it together.
