Date is 26 January 2020.Change your closing time to 2 in the afternoon if you cannot serve customers who come in hungry after a long drive.i have worked as a manager in an Indian restaurant but we never turned away customers.i came before it was even 2 after having a good time at Otaki beach with three kids who were hungry and I was told the restaurant can only do takeaway and we can’t dine in.what are we supposed to do take the food and have it in the car or Drive two hours to home to eat it.if this is the case on a busy weekend I don’t know what happens on a weekday.i found better service in the Thai restaurant just across the road.The guy managing the counter was not even apologetic.he just said we don’t do dine ins after 2 pm and we only wanted some good Indian food for my kid.Thank you for...

Unfortunately, I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant, starting the moment I walked in. The man who seemed to be the manager or owner didn’t even greet—no “hello,” no acknowledgment—just cold and dismissive from the start, due to extremely poor customer service, When I raised a concern, the person who appeared to be the manager or owner responded in a rude and unprofessional manner. Rather than addressing the issue respectfully, he whispered under his breath and made it clear that customer feedback wasn’t welcome. It’s incredibly disheartening to be treated this way, especially by someone in a leadership role. A restaurant should make its guests feel heard and respected—this experience was the opposite. Out for dinner last night with a couple of family members who suggested coming here. Three reasons you get my 5 stars. First, the waiter was very friendly and accommodating - Great start 👌 Second, the place in general from what I saw was very clean including the wineglass I was drinking out of which was amazingly clean and polished. Might sound funny, but is something I definitely look out for being someone who does a lot of event planning and management myself. Third, the tomato soup was the best tomato soup I've ever had, and made without coriander as requested 👍😁 My sis and brother in law were in agreement on that, after trying a spoonful as well 😋 So thanks heaps for a great experience whilst in Levin visiting the family.
