Absolutely loved Taper Eatery! Very delicious food, gorgeous decor and happy and friendly staff. Really liked Taper Eatery in Levin.... Menu didn't have a lot of options however what was on thier was tasty and beautiful. Ordered a blueberry muffin and was freshly cooked and absolutely beautiful muffin, others ordered avocado bagels and they were also beautiful and fresh tasting, with many elements tasting fresh.. Decor is nice and cozy, especially at the back of the shop The coffee is also very nice, absolutely beautiful! Overall a very clear 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and would definitely come here again and recommend this eatery...

Came here for the first time and loved the vibe and ambience. There was 8 people of us for mostly coffee and snacks and just adored the decor, and quirky 70s furniture and antique radios. They serve both cafe drinks and food & wine & cocktails which was cool to see. The coffee was delicious, the raspberry friands and yoghurt were Devine, along with my corn fritter stack, it was perfect! Loved all the homemade tasting food (please don’t change this) and expertly made coffee, we’ll be back! Congrats to the new owners for turning an old clothes store into a cool and chic eatery with an...

The service was friendly & quick, our chicken tacos were great. Our takeout coconut spicy chais were the best I’ve had in ages!

We did not appreciate the dogs coming through the cafe. Especially one man who thought we should all love his dog so let it go on long leash to come snuff/lick my ankles. Then seemed affronted when my husband told him we don’t like dogs!He got his coffee to go and then loaded his dog into his car which was parked right out front!! Why not leave it in car for the 5mins it took to get his coffee? I am afraid of dogs and especially do not want them around me...

Incredibly hip and fashionable, Taper wouldn't be out of place in the Wellington cafè scene. The menu was fairly broad, and featured trendy interpretations of popular dishes. I had Buttermilk Pancakes with fresh fruit, yoghurt mascarpone, maple syrup, and a berry coulis. The portion was quite small for the price, but it was enough food. I also had a Latte which was really well made, and not at all bitter. Probably the best café experience I've had in Levin - although I was surprised by the price point which is a little more on the expensive side - particularly for the Horowhenua market.
