Avalon Bakery — Restaurant in North Island

Avalon Bakery, nestled in the heart of Lower Hutt, is a place that often buzzes with the promise of freshly baked goods and the allure of home-style comfort food. On my recent visit, I decided to indulge in their much-talked-about mince and cheese pie.

However, there was a noticeable aspect that didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Headed back to this bakery for a second chance visit. Bought the bacon and egg quiche which was well made and delicious. The steak and cheese pie. Had to go back to the bakery as the lady had overcharged us. I did the mistake of just paying for whatever was on the eftpos machine. Be careful of the price they charge you with. Looked like she was well aware of what she was doing when I went back to tell her she overcharged us. She even went on to say she was going to look at the camera which I replied saying go ahead.
