Unprofessional service from Kitchen Staff [male]. I ordered a Baked Potato at 13.14 re: EPOS. 20 minutes later I inquired if they could serve the Baked Potato 'as is' as I had a pending appointment else where. The Baked Potato was delivered to my Table, the knife/Fork were SLAM DOWN with such ferocity that a Lady in a distant Table came over to enquire "what was that all about" . The male kitchen staffer made the comment "that he was extremely busy" in a gruff voice. Sorry mate, that's not my problem. On leaving I said I'll be writing a review. The front staff member made the comment I should had said I had an appointment. HELLO.....if you thing there is a delay in your service, or you have problems in the Kitchen Staff, THEN YOU should have conveyed this at the front desk initially. This place is a real gem and has become our go-to place in Mosgiel. It doesn't look much from the outside, and the interior certainly isn't pretentious with awful amateurish art interspersed with "inspirational quote" art adorning the walls, however the food is very good, the service simple but friendly, the portions generous and the prices extremely reasonable We usually order the Aurorasaurus burger for our toddler, which he loves and could feed most adults. We were travelling through and stopped for coffee and muffins. The ladies were fantastic, even stopped to help me open the door when my arms were full. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere here.
