Wooden Table — Restaurant in Otago

The wooden table use to be one of my favourite cafes but the last few visits have been really dissapointing so i am not sure i will be back. I regularly bring my children here so they can play in the play room and so i can enjoy my coffee while they do. The last two times the playroom has been shut . Good value for money food. Tasty and filling. We had scrambled eggs, bacon and toast, ham and cheese sandwich, hot chocolate and chai. We were with our son (17 months old) and they had a good highchair and toys to keep him busy. We didn't try anything from a kids menu though if they have one (he ate scrambled eggs) so can't comment on that. Great spot for an early morning coffee and breakfast. Opens at 0600 so perfect for the early birds. Great location, on the corner of Gordon and Factory road with plenty of parking out back and easy access to the parking. Friendly staff and great atmosphere, perfect spot to catch up with friends before the day starts. Serves a great coffee and some choice breakfast options.
