Im So happy to have stumbled across Turmeric & decided to try what was on offer. absolutely blown away at the value “$19.99 for curry rice and bread” for the quality of the food I received they could charge $28-30? just for the curry alone. It was Everything an authentic delicious Indian meal should be.. I’m excited to try much more!

🤩And I’m return tonight for MORE! .. two nights in a row .. Yum! 🤤

I was Immediately impressed with the aroma of fresh 🌶️spice as I walked in.. an Excellent Sign that this will be a good spot for a curry all fresh ingredients made lovingly by hand in-house “just like how mum would make it 😉 Yum!

The pleasant welcoming helpful & polite host greeted me like a friend he hadn’t seen in far to long 👍🏻 💯🙂

When I saw the menu I wanted to order more food than I had the money to pay for.. I was having difficulty choosing one over the other and I had to have that delicious looking fresh mango lassi he kindly assisted by making my order to suit the amount of money I had available to spend. “Very kind indeed” and that lassi was mine! Yum!

If you’re disappointed there’s 💯% something wrong with “You” ….because it’s not...

Ordered Delhi butter chicken, can tell you after growing up in Delhi and being chef myself the butter chicken what they name it as Delhi Butter chicken, its a myth.... people in Delhi won't even touch it for free. The dish they call butter with overcooked dry roast chicken is neither korma, nor kadhai nor masala. It was basically lot of grinded onions with base curry and butter, cream added to it. They should rename it to something else rather than insulting a legendary butter chicken which is mainly from fresh tomatoes and only 10 percent of Boiled and strained onions. Because they dump in so much onions, dish gets sweeter without even sugar added, because cooked onions bring out sweet tones after cooking....... They will get offended if I write further. If I was told that it is something else not Delhi butter chicken, I would have understood. Please please don't ever insult our Delhi butter chicken, it is a highly time consuming process and only 2 places do it close to...

Honest review , couldn't say the taste was bad but even couldn't say they were really good, they informed us not to order butter chicken as it is not exact to indian food n asked us to go with dhaba chicken , trust me it was Luke we were eating sugar curry instead of butter bone in chicken ..tooooo sweet for a curry , their momos were extrely spicy to the other end even for indians to eat, vegetarian momos would be around 3/5 , samosa chat was 5/5 , their chicken Tikka curry was good, dint like their lacha parathas , garlic naan was good, we ordered 3 curries , the quantity of two were extremely little , chole batore was an disappointment as I liked only chole n not batore, same curry was served for both kulcha n batore which again disappointed us ..overall overrated when compared to Indian bar and eatery in papakura
