Great museum about the local history of Papakura. Great exhibition with old and new photos comparing the same streets; stories about first settlers etc. Even though the museum focuses on local history you learn a lot about New Zealand in general - the stories about first settlers, land conflicts with Māori native tribes etc. will have repeated themselves everywhere in the country.
