Peppers Cafe — Restaurant in Rodney

We had lunch here, my daughter and friends eat here regularly, they love the place. They enjoyed their meals and mine hit the spot I was not feeling overly hungry. The staff suggested a toasted sandwich, not my normal go too. Glad I had it though the attention to detail was great I had a bacon, mushroom and cheese toastie on grainy bread. They chopped up the bacon, there is nothing worse than biting into a toastie like this and the rest of the bacon coming out on your first bite. Coffee was great hard to find a place that can pull off a good short black. 10/10 for food...

We tried Peppers for brunch today after hearing and reading the other reviews that it was great.

I had a steak and mushroom pie which was very average at best, far too much pale loose gravy used as for the filling, and very little meat just two small pieces.

However the taste was okay.

My wife had a date scone which she said was okay.

We wouldn't rave over the coffees, but they were okay.

Highly recommend Peppers Cafe! 7 of us girls left this place 100% satisfied with the food, service and venue. The food was scrumptious, full of flavor, well presented, cooked to exactly how it was ordered. Surprisingly for a big number like ours the food was brought out to us in excellent timing. The venue was very clean and spacious for large numbers and small. Friendly service with a smile..very hard to find in the Auckland city. Definitely going back next time we are...
