The Landing Restaurant at The Riverhead — Restaurant in Rodney

This restaurant was outstanding, truly one of the best in Riverhead. It's a popular spot with a beautiful stream view and an elegant interior that suits both family dinners and special occasions. I visited with my family and my fiancée's family for a wonderful lunch.

The menu offered a wide variety, from fish to beef. We ordered beef steak, fish and chips, linguini, and salads. Everything was very satisfying, with the salad standing out as fresh and delightful. Unfortunately, the linguini was slightly disappointing, as the noodles were overcooked. However, the overall meal was delicious, and the service was friendly.

For dessert, we enjoyed some ice creams, which were the perfect finishing touch. The restaurant's atmosphere is extraordinary, which was a major reason for our visit, and it turned out to be the right choice.

visited the Riverhead Tavern again yesterday after almost a year and I’m so glad I did. Last time I came, I left disappointed, but this visit was a completely different experience—in the best way possible.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the service was great from the moment we arrived. I was especially happy to see that the Scotch filet steak is now served with both salad and fries again, just like it used to be. It was cooked perfectly and tasted just as amazing as I remembered.

I brought two friends from overseas with me and they were really impressed with the food and the atmosphere. Everyone was happy, and it felt good to enjoy a meal here again.

We had an excellent dinner last night at The Landing in Riverhead, booked through First Table. Set right on the river, the location is a standout — peaceful, scenic, and a perfect spot to unwind as the sun goes down. The relaxed riverside setting added real atmosphere to an already enjoyable evening. Service was professional and attentive, and the food was well-executed — fresh, flavourful, and attractively presented. Portions were just right, and the pacing between courses was well judged. The wine list featured some good local selections, and the First Table discount made the meal great value for the quality.
