FoodTalk — Restaurant in South Island

Not impressed with the service at foodtalk I arrived on the premises, I was tha only one that placed an order at the time I arrived and there was one other customer who received their food 5mins later. I don't know how long they had been there before I ordered but my food didn't come out for about 20mins and I had ordered chicken balls, salad and chips, 2xfish, salad and chips and a large coke 600ml. I waited and finally getting annoyed went up and asked where my food was then had to wait another 2mins till I received it. Food was ok. My wife purchased Thai food from another vendor got 1 chicken drumstick it looked like as well as sweet and sour pork. She asked for no rice or noodles and then received a rather small portion sized meal with some veggies. The pork was quite small and a lot of batter pieces in the container. Unfortunately a bit below average food compared to other establishments around Dunedin. The other problem was there were about 3 previous customers plates ,bowls left on tables not picked up in the time we were dinning. Little things like that let...

Walked in for a birthday lunch with my partner and we were very happy with the food. I had the Teriyaki Bento from Yum Yum. And my partner had the thai outlet in the food court. Both were delicious, the free can of coke was a bonus and all was fresh, hot and we definitely recommend. Went back today for sushi from Yum yum, again, amazing. I enjoyed having a foodcourt in the middle of mosgiel town centre. I think there was a Japanese place, a Thai food place, an Indian place, fried chicken and burgers, and coffee. Looks like a good variety. I had a pad thai from zaebdee, it was very flavourful, a tad bit too sweet for my liking but it's better than some Thai places I've tried in dunedin.
