Horrible service! Only reason I am giving 2 stars is the food tastes good.
I am writing this feedback as I am still dining at the place (edited further after I reached home). Banquet Menu is full of things that they don't have and they kept on making rules as the the meal progressed. Whatever rules they told us while ordering each course of the Banquet should be documented in the Menu. Honestly I felt that we were being taken for a ride. If you cant document the T&C for Banquet in the menu, you should not be having this. I have attached the current version of Menu for reference. In retail/Consumer world it may be called as False Advertisement!
Faloda as mentioned in the response is one of 1/2 a dozen issues we encountered. We made sure initially that Falooda was available to the staff (from India). Based on affirmative response we decided to order the banquet. That was one of the key decision factor for choice of Banquet.
The staff should be trained to explain things better.
This is just my experience tonight. Please take this as a honest feedback from a customer and do everything that is needed to provide better service in future so that this experience is not experienced by another customer of yours. And also I hope that this feedback contributes as a stepping stone of your success.
Finally, we come out to your restaurant like yours for "fine dining experience". Especially driving 30 minutes from the other side of city. Thanks for making it a "bad dining experience" tonight for me with the service...
Read moreI come here a lot with my partner and it probably has some of the best curries around Selwyn. There's a couple of downfalls but these are definitely out shadowed by the positives.
I'll rate all the curries I've had out of 5 below: Fish Molee - 5/5 Hussabandi Gosht - 5/5 Lamb Nawabi - 5/5 Lamb La Lajawab - 5/5 Paneer Akbari - 5/5 Chicken Tikka Masala 4/5 Mango Chicken - 4/5 Butter chicken - 4/5 Chicken Sector-17 - 1/5 (not a personal fan, better off getting a jar of chicken tonight)
The breadbasket is great value, I wouldn't recommend getting it if you're going as a party of 2 because you get so much. It is good though if you want to try all of their breads. This is better had in the restaurant though because when we get takeaways there seems to be no cheese in the garlic and mozzarella naan (despite the fact that this costs more than your standard garlic naan). Eating in is a little tedious as there's no where for people who are getting takeaways to wait and people just sit at random tables ruining the ambience for a dine in experience. The waitresses are really lovely and always try to go above and beyond to help cater...
Read moreHave been waiting to put up a review after trying few dishes. Three stars just for the ambience. When it comes to food. It does not taste good. There are two Indian restaurants in Lincon and I prefer the other one. But if you really want an authentic taste, invest some time and go to the city. There are many places there . Last two dishes I tried were okay, but felt like the base for the chicken dish, both tasted the same. Today i tried the chicken biriyani. It took 40 minutes to get it. And it tasted so bad (bland chicken mixed with some masala and rice) that I had to clear my taste buds with chocolate ice cream. Will I buy from here...
