Sumela Kebab — Restaurant in Taranaki

Ok so I am a bit of a Kebab connisseur visiting New Plymouth for a couple of weeks. Ordered 3 for the family as Sumela was round the corner. We all had large kebabs. They were huge, with lots of meat, excellent value for money and very tasty. I would highly recommend these kebabs. Chips were also superb. Garlic bread was ok. Overall I was very suprised, larger kebabs were very good value and when I return will come straight to Sumela Kebab next time. Staff were friendly and prices very reasonable. Parking...

Had eaten here a few years ago and they was good standard kebabs, unfortunately it has regressed. The meat was flavorless and sauce was overdone (leaking everywhere). We also ordered a side of baklava - the syrup was excessive and the packing not tight so leaked through all the other food.
