Baked @ Greenhithe — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

I have visited this bakery many times, and I decided it was time to leave a review—to support this small family business and ensure no one misses out on this little gem.

Baked @ Greenhithe offers a delightful selection of food, including a variety of pastries, slices, cookies, pies, donuts, and filled rolls, all of which are prepared fresh at their Milford premises.

A few of my personal highlights are:

Ham roll (photo included): The filled rolls are exactly that—filled—with ham, cheese, fancy lettuce, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, and some flavourful condiments, all inside a fresh bun.

Custard-filled donut: The ratio of custard filling to dough is unparalleled, and the texture is perfect—proper handmade fresh donuts! Unfortunately, they had sold out on Friday, so I couldn't get a photo.

Pies: They have a good selection, but my favorites are the 'steak & cheese' and 'chicken, cranberry & brie'. They are perfect straight from the warmer, but my "top tip" is to grab some cold ones and freeze them to enjoy later. Quality bakery pies at home, anytim. Ask in-store for the best way to heat them.

I typically wash my lunch down with a coffee. Baked uses quality Chiasso coffee beans, and I find that a small cappuccino offers the perfect balance of flavour and strength.

Food is really good at Baked but unfortunately the weekend staff is not so great, never smiles always have a “don’t want to be here” vibe. Me deciding what donut I want seems to frustrate the girls behind the till. Recommend their food but unfortunately the customer service makes you feel like your business aren’t wanted.
