Top of pie came off quite easily, which could be an issue while holding. - Vetkoek with Curry mince. 8/10 First time trying this, deep fried dough with curried mince. This was actually really nice, Curry wasn't overpowering, mild and not spicy at all. Get this earlier I the day as the mince dries up in the heater tray in the afternoon.

I read these reviews to gauge the quality of the experience before trying the places out. So i ventured in after reading good things about coffee and service etc.

Fail.

Coffee was luke warm and boring, Curry Mince Verkoek was luke warm and looked dated and the young server cashier had a sour look about Her

The only reason this isn’t a 1 ⭐️ review is the cream donut was incredible!! Go there for the cream donut, you needn’t bother with the rest...

The best secret in town... the cream.donuts. And chicken cranberry pie #sssshhhh The food is plentiful, fresh, tasty . The owners are friendly and always look genuinely happy to see you. Especially if you're a regular. The staff member on Sundays is great too. The rolls to take away are devine pillows of soft bread. Love this place and we travel to it especially for...
