I was struggling with jet lag, and battling with mountains of work I had no time to eat nor sleep, of course left with no energy to cook. We have decided to give this place a go out of desperation and lack of options around this area. I ordered the lemon grass pork rice noodles and I always judge a restaurant by a bowl of soup noodles, I usually would know by the first sip if the place is worth coming back to. I’m a huge foodie and like cooking myself but often times run out of energy or time to do. Today I have found a new spot that I’m glad to share with the world that it is worth coming back to.

Nice, well lit venue. Staff are friendly and polite, although there aren't a lot of floor staff so drinks are self serve, and the skinny floor space design means you'll constantly have to wait and take turns between other customers or staff when refilling the tiny paper cups. Menu range is pretty small, basically the same protein choices either in rice, noodles or vermicelli. Wontons and Spring Rolls were fried to crispy perfection, although the Wontons were on the smaller end. Mains were okay, similar to Hansan in taste and quality, not particularly stand out.

I would give it 3.5 stars. It is definitely vietnamese food with a korean twist. Great service. Lots of parking in the weekend. We had grilled lemongrass pork with vermicelli noodle salad ($22.00), stir fried beef noodles ($22.00) and meat combination rice noodle soup ($21.00). The noodle salad was the best dish. The stir fried beef noodles was sweet which must have been the korean twist. The soup had a very strong seafood flavour which tainted the meat, not our cup of tea. It was busy with lots of Koreans after 1pm.

At first, fast service but then I realize I am not being treated the same as the other customers in the restaurant. No one came to check on my meal satisfaction during service but I could see other tables were being well taken care of by waitress. I am local and would have come back if it was good. Food and drink came out fast. Drink was sickly sweet with too much strawberry syrup, I did not drink it and they did not make me pay for it, so I am grateful for that. That gets the extra star. That shake is definitely not worth $10 as it started separating within 10mins. The complementary pickled radish was yum but I had to call them back to ask what it is, they just put it on the table without saying anything. The chicken fried noodle was very oily and no refined flavor, big potion but not worth $22. Very plain.... Spring onion, onion and mung bean sprout were the only vege. Not really Vietnamese, to be honest. It was mostly just noodles. It is better to go to the Chinese takeaway for cheaper and get more vegetables the meal. I took the leftover noodles home and added my own vege, which made it a lot better. I was trying to get the waitress' attention for a takeaway box but she was standing by her station out of sight from the boss, playing with her hands for a while. Finally, she noticed me. The owner (?) seems friendly but he should ask "how was your meal?" when customer goes to pay. If I didn't complain when he billed me the full price, even though he saw the drink still full... I would have given 1 star if it...

Not worth the hype. Flavours are not vietnamese at all. Presentation may mirror vietnamese food. But the food flavours are korean pallate base. From the broth and condiment to their food. Its a true reflection as the owner and staff are koreans. The price and quantity are significantly not valued for the money. An example i got my self the orginal pho noodles four bites and all gone, 6 protein and three leaves of bok choy in a massive bowl of broth (with no flavour) surprisingly they served kimchi on the side since when vietnamese food serves kimchi. Im happy to give 2 stars for trying. But atleast do some more research before executing a restaurant vietnamese name focus with korean food...
