The Bakery — Restaurant in Vincent Community

Brought a cheese toasty which was just labeled as a cheese toasty, turned out it had meat in it, I am vegetarian. Went back in to ask to exchange it for something veggie, woman with black curly hair said no exchange no refund policy, told me that because I had taken out the shop I could have done anything to it, I had taken a bite out of it it’s not like she could put it back on the shelf, ended up leaving when she just refused to do anything at all, except be confrontational, awful service! Some people shouldn’t be in customer facing jobs!

Egg sandwidch was good, picnic tables outside was great Pie from warmer had dry pastry, tasted a couple days old. Filling was okay but not special Pie from cabinet was reheated in microwave before being served - as expected after seeing it go in microwave it was soft, tasted okay though. Airfryer reheating would have been much better

Server staff member was a bit blunt, felt like our order was an inconvenience. It was only 10am and not overly busy. Would have ordered coffee if there was any hint of...

I had the good fortune to be passing this place, so stopped in for a coffee and something to eat.

These guys produce one of the most authentic cornish pasties i have eaten outside of Cornwall.

The pastry, the filling, right amount of pepper in the mix. Not often i talk about food, but man, if you're passing and hungry stop in.

I highly recommend the cornish pasties, ( though it all looked great).
