Worst service and food. Chicken sliders were undercooked and returned to the kitchen. No further communication from them. Which In itself is poor attitude and service . Before I left I went to find out what was happening with the meal- maybe they were re cooking it? Refunding it? I said I was happy to pay for the chips but not the sliders. The cook came out and said it was my choice to not eat the chicken and they would not refund. She then said I could talk to the manager if I liked. The manager took his time coming out and during this time I could see it he staff standing out the back vaping and talking as we waited . he went on to say I had been served food that was cooked and that was how thighs were served. I said at 50 Iâd eaten my share of chicken thighs and knew what to expect. He said his staff had said I was rude and he could see this now. I had been nothing but patient and pleasant up to this point after him saying this I then referred to the quote on his business card that said they âserved coffee and sarcasm.â I explained to both him and his chef that being a diabetic on a pump ment I had taken insulin for a meal I hadnât eaten which was not OK. He was unbending,rude and sarcastic. His chef was aggressive and intimidating in her stance . He offered a voucher which I declined as we are not from Morrinsville .    Read moreVery sad and disappointed with this Cafe, we ordered 2xlarge coffee was given a table number, we went sat outside waiting for our coffees, we bought some sushi from across the road and we thought will come to Loxies order our coffees and dine in there ,well a lady came over told us we are not aloud to have our food there it's only for coffees and Beverages đȘI was like but we ordered 2xlarge coffees we are customers?she walked away ,only to find out from the Cafe host she was the owner, oh wow an owner to treat customers like that very unprofessional and to us she sounds Racist. Anyways I went up to the counter and asked the gentleman that was serving us ,sorry but I'll have my money back will go somewhere else. I didn't want to make a scene there but I could eat her alive honestly. I work as a customers service in a Big Restaurant in Auckland and to come out here for a visit and get treated like that ,my advice you need to go back to basics lady go back to training ,obviously you need alot of training. It's okay if you get it wrong but it's not okay to make the customer feel bad about it, when they remade our drinks we just got them slapped back on the table with no sorry about that, let us know if this is okay or let us know if there is anything we can do for you not even a here you go just no conversation.Then we could see staff staring at is discussing whatever they were about the situation which was inappropriate. The only good thing was the food it was absolutely delicious, if the service was better we would love to return to a place like this.
