Awesome cake and slice, something happened with communication between FOH and Barrister. Stopped by after having my COVID vaccine as this place has great ratings. I have a lactose intolerance which was actually mentioned by the FOH when I asked for soy milk in my Mocha - amazing because this rarely happens anywhere. Only a medium-milk allergy so provided I control my intake I get by. When my drink came through on takeaway, normal milk had been used. I do not consume pure milk so identified the taste difference immediately and stopped drinking. Please Barista, follow your FOH instructions he is on the ball so please don't put others health at risk by not paying attention to the notes on the order. Always good coffee! Food choices are a little limited and carb heavy, but consistently good. Best salmon bagel in town. No pretentiousness. One of my fav lunch places.

UPDATE AFTER PRICE INCREASE Staff is still fab, coffee still good, but prices are now ridiculous. After all, it's not an upmarket bistro with a nice interior - it's a loud, slightly run down lunch place in the middle of the walkway to a shop. Not going as often...
