what exactly was happening ? as soon as I walked in for a cup of coffee, was asked to show the ID with reason that we have bar as well "its a condition of our license" what!! in N number of years of my hospitality career I never heard about such license condition!

I have been never asked to show ID for a cup of coffee as I go there quite often. what if I would have said that I didn't bring my ID then no coffee. . lol ...never mind !

and I am pretty sure the milk of the coffee, I got served was spoiled milk or left over milk from other coffees. when I asked nicely that it stinks then she said rudely "no it smells like a coffee should" rather than arguing there I requested to pour coffee in another coffee to takeaway then it took more than 5 minutes to pour the same coffee into another cup! And I was thinking they are taking time to make a new coffee ...how...

This would be the worst offhand, rude service we have struck. Hubby had a bacon and egg pie, which they microwaved, pastry chewy. Ordered an americano, got half a smallcup. Ordered a chicken and cranberry bun, got toasted, couldn't even cut it, took it back, where a guy argued with me, said I had asked for toasted, which I didn't, I told him it was burnt, unedable, he begrudgingly gave me another, which I said leave it cold. He was quite aggresive, not good customer service, and they are charging top dollar. Sure wouldn't eat there again, or...

Good food, good atmosphere, good space, nice staff.

Getting off the train to start your day can be brightened up by popping in here for a quick hot drink or a bit of hearty food. Large space so you can enjoy as a group or just chill on your own and watch some sport on the screens dotted about - sound can be a bit of a problem with lag from one getting quite annoying.

Or just grab a literal bowl of hot chocolate and wait for your delayed train to sort itself out, and if it doesn’t, the bar is large and...
