I have been privileged to travel to more than 30 countries in the 5 habitable continents of this world. I was and (still am) privileged to dine in both the local and international cuisines, partly because I love good food. There are certain parameters that define a good place. Those good qualities are virtually absent at Ghana High Restaurant. The environment is poor, both inside and outside. Their food, which I ate a number of times when I was at 3 Moloney, was usually oily and overcooked. The sauce (stew) is always over-fried. The wall should be screeded and painted. There is also a need for better ventilation. All the hanging old telecommunications cables should be cleared of the eyesore dirts on them. There may be difficulties in increasing the parking space, but good control of traffic would make parking less tedious. The interior of the Restaurant must be well lit. Food is so delicious the meat is cooked so well, the sauces, the stews... The meat made me babble poetry. The plantain, the ewa agoin, the rice dishes... If you love jollof, please go there. If environment plays a role in your enjoyment of food, don't come. The place is far from elegant. But the food... Ahhhhh When you come in, be ready to order fast as there's usually a queue. There's no table service and since there's a queue, service is brisk. The smells of different meals and sauces intermingle to make sure you order fast so you can begin eating. The place is cash only so please use the bank ATM close by before coming. Oh for those who want Ghana high food but don't like the environment, you have the option of taking your food to-go. Or send someone to get it for you so the memories of the environment won't spoil the pleasure...

Also known to serve the traditional swallow meals, the appeal for these are also high. I personally haven't had swallow here but have been told to try it out soon. Drinks are cold almost always.
