Westwood Hotel Ikoyi — Hotel in Lagos Island

The location is great. Food is okay, the room is good for price but my stay here in general wasn't good. From houseflies & roaches in the room & bathroom to horrible customer service both from the restaurant & reception.

I was met with a hostile receptionist both on phone and in person, and then a restaurant staff who picked my call insinuating my complaint about the reception's extension line not being reachable as lies. Being in the hospitality industry myself, one would generally expect the professional thing to do would be to profer a solution by either taking down my message or have the reception call me back or even ask to send the IT team to come check the telephone.

And then there's the housekeeper who cleaned the room but left the wastebins unattended

Still wondering how a 4star front office staff have no idea what dental kit means and even worse how a 4star hotel wouldn't have one!

For a hospitality service, in Ikoyi for that matter! Customer service here...

Great views and nice air if you sit in the rather small rear side. Came here for the breakfast buffet, quite disappointed with the selection..... only thing was the rolls were great... pastry awful, they need a new pastry chef. Coffee was too strong, seemed to hsve exceeded its time and lacked aroma. Everything was soooo so so..... two stars for the food.. you can sleep here and go out for the food .. last minute regained one star for remembering I need a fork...
