Wole Olateju is a social street with lots of lounges and bars. I decided to try Red bar today and boy was it a horrible experience. Setting: there are 3 possible areas. I was told that I needed to buy a bottle to sit at the waterfront without a reservation and I wasn't in the mood for that. The open area was in the center of 3 extremely loud speakers and I could barely hear myself think. So I went upstairs with my 4 person crew, and that offered a good amount of music and ambience but the waiters were always out of range.

The service: I was told that the food would take 10mins but it took 30 for starters, and the draft beer took 20mins.

The food: The shisha had to be redone thrice, the chicken tacos were dry and the prawn tacos were starting to turn. The red burger is a perfect example of looks that fail to deliver. Possibly one of the worst restaurant experiences ever....

They are scammers , i was scammed. I had a very terrible experience, i used their space today for a mini event and ordered for their veggies pasta and chicken for 18000 per plate for 20pple. It was a take out but i noticed it was fully packaged and stapled but when i wanted to serve my guest, i noticed it was too light like nothing was in it then i decided to open one lo and behold they didnt put any chicken and no veggies atall just plain pasta with no protein . Thought it was a mistake and decided to open 2 more and that was the case for all 20. I asked why and they said they meant shredded chicken not a whole chicken which wasnt indicated on their menu. It was written veggies pasta and chicken , there wasnt any shredded chicken in it aswell.I had to go get protein from the place restaurant to serve my guests.Thats pure scam cos i had to...
