There is nothing not to love about Chef Edwards Food House. Located on Evo road GRA Port Harcourt, it is hard to miss it whilst passing by. If you're a lover of freshly cooked meals, this is one place to visit and experience. The menu is properly detailed and if you find it difficult making a choice, you can ask the waiter to help you out and be sure they will make a good choice. You can also call and order beforehand so that you don't wait long for your meal. Not to worry, the waiting time is not long in the case you can't do a pre-order. The downside here is the parking space which seems to be an issue with a good number of dining places. Walked into this restaurant right after Sunday service with zero expectations.

Food took a little time but was worth the wait. Decor is basic, pricing is quite decent, portion is 10/10. I had very delicious jollof rice with fried tilapia fish and fried plantain while my partner had coconut rice, chicken and plantain.

The coconut rice was just immaculate, and this is from someone who will not taste coconut rice except it’s a life or death situation lol. It’s an absolute hit.

Now the chips was a COMPLETE disaster. I have never had bad chips but I guess there’s always a first. The waiter also made a wrong order which we just shrugged off and paid for regardless.

Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely return again but keep fried chips VERY FAR AWAY...
