If she doesn’t take better care of these restaurant chains

.. Anyway, I Entered into the restaurant at Wuse axis on the 22nd of April,2023 and these were my experiences. 1. Waiters were play fighting, engaged in various horse-play, watching football, and they made so much noise that the music in the restaurant could barely be heard. They made more noise than even guests. I am not saying staff should not be happy. But why bother customers with your noise and stress? Besides, do we really need to see your shoving and “quacking” each other? One was swinging a tray he just used to serve while waking back to the kitchen/bar area and almost knocked a guest unbeknownst to him. 2. I sat down for almost 10 minutes with no service. I had to beckon on one of the playful and highly giddy staff before I was served. Jevnik that I used to know, the moment you come in, an assigned waiter is there taking your order. I could have sat there for a year with no one asking anything. 3. Food was served in chipped and cracked plates. Very chipped and cracked edges. Presentation used to be super. Right now it is worst than some mama puts. I don’t understand this. 4. Soup quality was too watery for an Afang. For the price I’ll get better at other places. I won’t mention names so it doesn’t look like sabotage.Afang soup never runs down one’s fingers in Jevnik. Never have I had their Afang and had the whole thing running down my fingers. 5. And the flies. No functional insect trap when I checked. I battled flies throughout my meal. I almost smacked my glass of mixed fruit juice while trying to swat flies. POSITIVES The only positives were: 1. The food was served hot and as usual 2. As usual, good and filling portion size. More needs to be done about this. Monitor your staff members and the details in service delivery. Customers like me who know what you used to be are finding significant difference service and quality. Of course you will have new customers. However, they too will get frustrated by the poor service.

Jevinik is one of the oldest restaurants in Abuja, after so many years we decided to try them out again. First the space was quite big, the also had a sitting space upstairs, which was were we stayed, just incase your looking for a bit of privacy Secondly the waiter was so prompt, humble nice and friendly, we had to tip him for his services. Thirdly everybody who ordered sallow with soup enjoyed their food especially the sea food okro, it was so nice. At first I ordered their coconut rice & chicken, I just couldn’t eat it, it was soggy and the coconut milk was to much, it didn’t taste nice at all. I don’t recommend their coconut rice, I had to ask for a change of meal, which I got. I then ordered their white rice & stew, it was spicy and I loved it.. Generally experience here was good and it’s actually an affordable and decent place to eat especially if you’re looking for a place to have that homemade taste, I’ll recommend jevinik

Abuja's dining hall is a perfect name to call this place. The biggest plus of the restaurant is the variety of dishes available for order all through from the mornings to the evenings. Service is personalised and you don't have to stand at the counter to order and carry your good because there are standby waiters who will take your orders at your table and offer any support you need. The food portions here are pretty large and I personally recommend a minimum of two person dining because it's almost impossible for one person to finish a portion, especially if it's soup and a swallow. There are enough parking spaces inside the restaurant compound as well as outside the gate. So you can drive there. Only negative I have is the tight seating arrangement inside the restaurant.

This restaurant has giant strides in being fore-runner for efficient service and customer care.

The parking is quite limited but the establishment has found a way round that with effective parking assistance and staff that monitor parking.

The ambiance is quite cool once you enter the restaurant. There is enough sitting for everyone. The servers are also many and are neatly uniformed.

What i actually found fascinating was that Clients are requested to sit as soon as they come in , a waiter will come to you with a mobile device they hold which tells them what is available, which they use to order for you ( this order goes straight to the kitchen), they also use this devise to calculate your bill.

Once your orders goes through, they bring bring in drinks and the food is ready and brought out in an average time of 5mins. Which is so impressive.

Your receipt is printed immediately with your meal. There is also option for cashless payment.

The food quantity too is quite sufficient. The food quality and quantity is really up there.

You can be in and out of the restaurant in 10-15mins if you want to do takeaway.

I would advise anyone in Abuja to visit...

I typically can't be bothered to review restaurants, but I am compelled to this time - if there was a rating like negative stars, this place would get -5 (minus five star).

I just left there like an hour ago, with most of the food I ordered still on the plate. The service was horrendous, the food portions were enormous but badly prepared (the stew especially), and I was given the wrong type of fish (after asking the waiter twice to confirm it was what I ordered). I complained to the "supervisor" about the fish and he said there was nothing they could do about it, even though it made up almost half of my bill.

But I don't blame him, he's getting paid to implement Jevenik's strategy of providing bland, industry-production type food in large quantities (low quality, high volume), and offering it through badly paid staff who have to serve multiple tables at the same time to make any money. And if they make any mistakes, the errors get deducted from their pay.

One thing is for sure, I'm never going...
