Kebabs & Kurries Restaurant — Restaurant in Wuse II

I and my sisters decided to go try out the place. The ambience and decor is beautiful. It got a bit hot at a time but later the temperature of the place was adjusted. The service was nice, especially the one received from our server. She had good knowledge of the menu and was able to advice us and answer our questions. She smiled all through and was at our beck and call. Then the food...hmmmm , first of all, the food came out timely regardless of the numerous customers they had. The price was ok compared to other places visited in abuja and everything was tasty. All four of us complimented the food and had enough to eat. The price and quantity I will say is very ok. Overall it's a good place to go wine and dine. I will surely visit again... Not to forget their fresh fruit juice... Came out fresh and chilled....

So I saw this very elaborate advert on Instagram about this restaurant and my mind wouldn’t stop disturbing me, so today I dressed up and went there.

I have been meaning to take a Chinese chicken soup, so that was my first order, I’ll add the picture, I must say I wasn’t too impressed, since I hadn’t tasted a chicken soup before, my brain had nothing to compare it with.

Moved on to order for a very long named chicken kebabs, and it took almost 30mins to make. When I finally got served, I quickly took a bite, this time my brain instantly compared it with my usually over sourced indomie I make for myself when I’m at home.

The painful part was, I wanted something spicy, although the presentation looked spicy, it had nothing to do with spicy. To cut the long story short my tongue was as bored as I was. The end...

Totally avoid this place. There are several other better options available. The only thing good about this place is the ambience, but you can get that anywhere else for free.

The quality of food is bad, or to say most of the dishes taste the same. 3 times i ordered the same dish & every time i got separate items. Initially it was ok but like most of the Indian restaurants quality is going down the drain very quickly. Price wise also it's not worth.

I remember when this restaurant started, i was telling my friend the food is good. He told me to wait a few months it will not be that good and not surprisingly he was correct.

I will prefer chicken republic or galaxy pizza over this restaurant, at least they are far...
