A party of 7 having late lunch. What excited me: called them around midnight the previous night since it said it was a 24 hour restaurant and someone responded to me cheerfully and advised it was best to order just before you came in, to reduce the wait time for the meal. I also liked that there was a detailed menu, beautifully photographed, sent to me by WhatsApp. I was a bit disappointed with the venue, somewhat dingy and be careful stepping into the main eating area because of the step down where I almost tripped. I told them to paste a notice that says "mind the step!" I'm big on how places smell, yeah a seafood restaurant needn't be so fishy! The meal eventually came, the spread was as displayed on the menu lovely to behold, but I didn't feel the sea in the seafood particularly the tilapia fish, some of the crabs should have been left on the beach! The coconut rice and grilled catfish compensated somewhat. My party, convinced that probably our choice of platter was the mistake, ordered another platter with the much rated sauce but I guess, I was done already. We didn't bother to do a take out. Though the service was top-notch when we left after 2 hours and spent almost 240k, we kind of figured why no other seafood lover strolled in on an early...
Read moreWe had the Sea Food Platter which was like a Hundred, fifty bucks at the time. I must say it's worth the money and the wait. If you can't wait for at least 45 mins for your food, call them to place an order before you arrive. The environment is nice and quiet with nice staff and I must comment on their music collection that was playing in the background, wonderful.
I visited again, service improved and can I say I enjoyed my meal more than the last visit. We were 5 in Number and Ordered the Sea Food Platter that is now 160,000 from 150,000 and we couldn't finish everything. The left over we take out can be enough for at...
Read moreWe had the seafood platter. The flavours were delicious and well put together though it was very spicy hot for me. Some items ( prawns, rice, fries, crab) were overcooked, making them hard/dry. The Asa fish was the star of the platter. I advice you to call an hour ahead to place your order as the meals are à la carte. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will try it again a bit pricy, though 🙈 They also had a good selection of old-school songs playing in the...
