The nice ambient is the reason I went there couple of times. But the meat is usually rare cooked and the last time the staff mistook my order, I asume they didn't have what I ordered and instead of telling me, the waiter kept convincing me that it is the right one. I was sure it is not because he brought me something that I never order, since I don't eat meat with cheese. Very popular among locals, but also a favorite place for some internationals. The restaurants has a nice atmosphere, mostly local, grilled (skara) menu, but you can eat Wiener Schnitzel also. We tasted the Tripe (Shkembe) and Beef (Telesko) Soup (Chorba), pleshkavica, chicken fingers and breaded cheese. Huge portions, only the Shopska Salad was small. Price for 4 persons: approx. 20 EUR. Facility and equipment: Obviously the best time to visit the restaurant is summer. Cool terrace, excellent for hot summer afternoons. Chairs need to be "refresh". Customers Service: Slowly but steady. We asked for cold water three times before we dehydrated :-) . Food: Tasty but small quantity. Try roasted eggplant with two kinds of cheese and garlic.
